At my recent visit to the USA National Swimming Pool Convention/Exhibition in Las Vegas, it could be seen that the industry was moving to automation much stronger than previously.
The other area of future development is the use of more environmentally friendly chemicals & less chlorine. AUTOMATION: Automation brings with it not only an easier life style for pool owners but much more controlled use of chemicals & energy. The manufacturers of packaged spas have been providing very energy efficient systems for many years with lots of automatic controls for heating & ready for use when you want it situations. This has helped the development of the spa industry to a point where they are not considered as much of a chore to look after as is a pool. Although some companies have been promoting & selling automated pool systems for many years, I have not previously seen the range, which was available, this year. - Auto Pool Cleaners

- Auto Chemical Dosing Systems
- Auto Level Controllers
- More efficient temperature control & more.

Truly there is a way out there to reduce our dependence on Chlorine in our pools & therefore promote a better lifestyle for our children. LIQUID SOLAR BLANKET Save the problem of having to roll on & off the solar blanket each time you want to swim. Liquid Solar Blanket comes in a small satchel & when applied to the pool, water it works 24 hours a day. WE have used the commercial version of the product in some large commercial pools & the customers have obtained considerable savings on heating bills. BACK TO TOP

RESIDENTIAL TEST KITS Taylor's residential range of chlorine & pH test kits & full analysis test kits is just getting better & better. Taylor have been one of the leaders in test kit manufacture for many years & were one of the first to produce a simple drop DPD test for Free chlorine monitoring. As with any product there are test kits & there is Taylor. If you want the best for a pool you have spent $15-50,000 building, then you can not go past Taylor. BACK TO TOP
WINTERIZING SHUT DOWN KIT So many of our customers ask where they can purchase the plugs etc to be able to blow out their lines & plug off the pool for winter in the freezing areas of the Northern United States. We looked high & low but have not come up with anything currently available, but we are talking to a couple of manufacturers about a kit for next winter. BACK TO TOP
OUR SITE FOR 2000 We will be introducing a new look to the site as we move in to the year 2000 & along with it will be the introduction of our own publications available directly on line. As well we have been talking to a number of suppliers of specialty products about supplying their products to you directly on line.
