Australia's first Training Manual for Swimming Pool Service persons. 1980 - Author of `Swimming Pool Shop & Servicemans A-Z Reference' Originally written as a guide to help train a new staff member in own organisation. The A-Z reference gives a basic outline of as many words as possible which are used within the industry. 1987 - Awarded "Canberran of the Year" for his unpaid service in designing a Hydrotherapy Pool for Malkara Special School, including all technical design of the chemical and filtration equipment & the enclosing building also including the Project Management for construction of the complete facility at no charge to the school. Awarded the Rotary International "Paul Harris" award for services to the community which involved Rotary Clubs in relation to the Malkara Special School.
